Peer REview Process

PEER REVIEW PROCESS

The International Journal of Social and Human Studies employs a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, relevance, and originality of submitted manuscripts. The process is structured as follows:

  1. Initial Evaluation: Each submission undergoes an initial screening by the editorial team to assess its alignment with the journal's scope, compliance with formatting requirements, and adherence to ethical standards. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria may be returned to the authors for revision or declined.

  2. Double-Blind Review: Qualified experts in the relevant field are invited to review the manuscript, maintaining anonymity for both authors and reviewers to ensure an unbiased evaluation. Each manuscript is typically reviewed by at least two independent reviewers who assess the article’s methodology, originality, theoretical contribution, and overall quality.

  3. Reviewer Feedback: Reviewers provide detailed feedback on the manuscript, including recommendations for improvement, and may suggest revisions, acceptance, or rejection. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on criteria such as clarity, depth of analysis, validity of findings, and significance to the field.

  4. Revision Process: Authors are provided with the reviewers' comments and are encouraged to make necessary revisions to enhance the manuscript. Revised manuscripts are re-evaluated by the reviewers to confirm that the suggested improvements have been implemented satisfactorily.

  5. Final Decision: The editorial board reviews the feedback from the reviewers and makes the final decision on the manuscript's acceptance, required further revisions, or rejection. The decision is communicated to the author along with any final recommendations for strengthening the work.

  6. Publication Ethics: The International Journal of Social and Human Studies upholds the highest standards of ethical publishing and follows established guidelines to prevent misconduct such as plagiarism, data fabrication, and conflicts of interest.

This transparent and thorough peer review process ensures that all published articles meet high academic standards, contributing valuable insights to the fields of social sciences and humanities.
